Horse riding excursions in the Pays de Laval

The Pays de Laval has many trails, sunken and shady paths that are ideally suited to horse riding. Feel free to download the horse riding map (below) edited by Mayenne Tourisme (the Agence de Développement touristique du Conseil Départemental de la Mayenne - Mayenne Departmental Council Agency for Tourist Development) that lists routes, possible accommodation and all other necessary details for a successful equestrian visit.

The towpath and the old railway tracks

La Mayenne, follow the flow: hiking along the towpath

The towpath, is one of France’s most beautiful multi-user trails, and runs 85 km alongside the River Mayenne. A means of enjoying your leisure activities in peace. Make the most of this exceptional route to discover the fauna, flora and the local heritage thanks to the signs that mark the way.

The old railroad tracks

Just like the towpath, the railway tracks have also resumed service for the benefit of hikers, cyclists and horse riders.
