Hip-hop dance
When urban dance meets digital art and our addiction to screens: a little choreographic bomb by Nabil Ouelhadj.
Does the number of clicks and followers limit our well-being? How can our perspectives sometimes be confined to a simple phone screen?
All these issues, linked to ultra-connection and technological isolation, are tackled head-on in this highly ambitious production, combining hip hop dance, digital experimentation and live music (with a theremin player). From the impressive moving set design to the physical performance of its performers, the piece captivates the senses while revealing the shortcomings of our modern lives.
Presented in partnership with the J2K Festival, from 11 to 19 October.
- Friday 17 October at 8.30pm
- Le Théâtre (Salle B.Hendricks)
- Ages 8 and up
- 9 / concessions (under 26s, jobseekers, Le Pass rate, Family Pass, 6par4 or SC Changé subscribers, Toutes Uniques Toutes Unies, groups): €6
