Push your limits!

The Infinity Trail is an official Backyard Ultra circuit in France! Open to everyone, it takes you through unique and stunning locations for an extraordinary endurance experience.

💡 A simple yet formidable concept: inspired by Lazarus Lake, the creator of the legendary Barkley, the Infinity Trail follows a single rule…

🔁 6.706 km per loop
⏳ A start every hour
⏱️ Finish in under an hour to continue

Finish a loop in 45 minutes? You get a 15-minute break.
Finish it in 58 minutes? You’ve only got 2 minutes left before the next start.

🔥 The aim? To last as long as possible.
🥇 The winner? The last runner to complete a lap.

How far are you prepared to go?💪🚀

The participants’ roadbook

Breaking down the challenge

Laz has devised a circuit to be completed 24 times (i.e. over 24 hours) to cover 161 km – the famous 100-mile distance, a true legend in the United States!

Even though the figures might seem daunting, the format is still accessible to everyone!

The idea is simple: cover 6.7 km in under an hour, which works out at an average of 6.7 km/h. Accessible, isn’t it? Whether you’re aiming for 3, 5 laps or more, there’s a place for you! 💪

At the Backyard in Laval, two participants stopped after the first lap, and the average number of laps completed by participants was 10.7. No pressure, just the joy of pushing yourself.

This loop format is ideal for testing long distances, getting a taste of ultra-trail running, or simply beating your own records. What’s more, you always return to base camp every hour and are never more than 3 km from the start – it’s a safe race, even at night. 🌙

And here’s a statistic that might just convince you: 50% beat their distance record and 20% double it!

So, what are you waiting for? We’ll see you in 2026!
