Theatre
A vibrant evocation of the young generation's desire to perform, this is a deeply moving show of tremendous vitality.
Why do you want to make theatre? Director Ahmed Madani put this question to seven young performers who had just graduated from drama school. Their answers triggered the writing of the play and brought to the stage the flaws, stories and singular paths of their lives.
Drawing a sensitive portrait of a generation, this moment of open and liberating speech also tells of the need for theatre in all these intimate trajectories. Laughter mingles with emotion, hope with gravity, in a collective experience that is at once spoken, sung, danced and remarkably staged. A profound and generous theatre, full of humanity.
- Saturday 31 January at 8.30pm
- Le Théâtre (Salle B.Hendricks)
- From age 14
- 16: full rate / reduced rate (under 26s, jobseekers, Le Pass rate, Family Pass, 6par4 or SC Changé subscriber, Toutes Uniques Toutes Unies, group): €13
