La Brillante! More than just a brilliant idea, an inspiring walk!
Starting from the village of Ahuilé, head for Etrogné! From there, after carefully crossing the D771, join the greenway that links Laval to Renazé and takes you to Nuillé sur Vicoin!
On this easy little road, you'll see the Vicoin on your left before passing the local Hyppodrome (come back in mid-October for the impressive cross-country race).

On this easy little road, you'll see the Vicoin on your left before passing the local Hyppodrome (come back in mid-October for the impressive cross-country race).
From Nuillé, you pass the surprising Chateau de Lancheneuil, then the more hidden Chateau de Marthebise, before plunging straight into the Mayenne!
A bucolic break? The Port Ringheard lock is waiting to welcome you.
It's time to set off again and climb up to L'Huisserie, cross its woodland and join the green route! From there, zigzagging along the cycle path near the Lycée Agricole, you'll rejoin the greenway to reach the road to Ahuillé. The road climbs up to a very small road on your left.
Drive on and cross the D771 again safely through the new tunnel (on your right). Would you like to take the greenway again? Off you go to Montigné le Brillant!
Make the most of this typical little village and its shops before setting off again on the road towards Nuillé sur Vicoin!
All that's left is a short climb... or two, and you're there!
And if you feel like it... the Planante also passes through Ahuillé... it's only another 40 km!
