La Ouestern - Cyclotourisme

A new cycling adventure starting from Port Brillet and the Etang des Forges!

Once again, we're taking you on a 36km ride through small villages, ponds and woods. From Port Brillet, head towards Launay Villiers and its lake before reaching Le Bourgneuf La Forêt and its shops. From there, head due west!

A succession of very small roads, very pleasant for cycling, lead you to Bourgon! Bourgon is the most westerly commune in the Laval agglomeration, flirting with our Breton neighbours! You'll now cycle past the Haute Vilaines leisure centre before returning to Mayenne and reaching an impressive site: the cement works at Saint Pierre La Cour!

The village is well worth a visit, particularly for its typical industrial town houses.

1 km after leaving the village, turn left and drive deep into the countryside to Ferme de Cornesse! A farm to visit, products to taste... without moderation! All that's left to do is cross the Bois des Gravelles.

One last bend for a magnificent view (especially at sunset) over the Moulin neuf pond and you're back in Port Brillet!
