The Mayenne choir's tenth anniversary celebrates the diversity of opera singing at the Théâtre!
Founded in 2015 under the impetus of Ismaël El Mechrafi and Désirée Pannetier (choral conductor at the Philharmonie de Paris), the In Paradisum choir has rapidly built up a strong reputation in the west of France. The choir's main aim is to bring the joys and secrets of vocal music to as many people as possible, through both the classical and contemporary repertoires.
To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the choir is bringing its full 60-strong ensemble to the Théâtre for an evening of opera that promises to be grandiose! From Bizet to Fauré, Verdi to Offenbach, Libiamo!'s royal programme will alternate pieces for a capella choir and others with orchestra.
