Paper theatre
Two actresses use splendid paper theatre to tell a universal tale of welcome and freedom.
One day, three bears, the Zzli brothers, arrive in a little girl's garden. She develops a wonderful friendship with the three fellows, and decides to share this encounter with her neighbours by organising a party. But most of them decline the invitation and, hostile to their presence, set about evicting the bear brothers...
In adapting Alex Cousseau's children's book Les Frères Zzli, the Laval-based company puts itself at children's level to poetically tackle some very topical issues. The relationship with the Other, hospitality and freedom, the freedom to welcome and to reside: through the magic of manipulation and a paper theatre of a thousand colours, paths are opened up towards another possible world.
- Wednesday 15 October at 4pm and 6pm
- Le Théâtre (Rotonde)
- Ages 3 and up
- 9 / reduced rate (under 26s, jobseekers, Le Pass rate, Family Pass, 6par4 or SC Changé subscribers, Toutes Uniques Toutes Unies, groups): €6
