Embark on a unique sonic voyage with Odeia! Straddling the straits that separate seas and oceans, the group draws on repertoires from all corners of the globe to explore the universal theme of tears.
On their third album, 'Il pleut', released in February, Odeia revisits traditional music and songs from central France, Greece and Italy, as well as arias and laments by Scarlatti, Vivaldi and Dowland. The group is inspired by tears in all their forms: those that make you cry, those that make you laugh, those that liberate and bring you together.
Prepare to be swept away by the vibrant deluge of violin, guitar, cello and double bass strings, accompanied by Elsa Birgé's powerful, emotional voice. An exploration of the full range of emotions to remind us of our common ties to humanity. A unique concert to share in the Prologue to Le Chainon manquant.
