A stay according to your desires

3 days / 2 nights from €215 per person(based on 2 pers.)

Day 1: First turns of the wheel in Laval
Welcome to Laval! As soon as you arrive, collect your bikes from the Tourist Office or the Halte fluviale. Map in hand, water bottle full, you’re ready to explore the historic centre: stroll through the cobbled streets and soak up the lively, welcoming atmosphere of the city.

Set your sights on an Auberge in a former presbytery that’s been converted into a warm and welcoming place to live. We’ll be waiting for you for a convivial aperitif over generous platters, before a peaceful night in this atypical riverside cocoon.

Day 2: Head north, between river and heritage
After a good breakfast, hop on your bike for a great escape along the Mayenne. The towpath guides you north, through a green and soothing setting, ideal for a smooth ride.

Take a break at the Montgiroux river stop: a tranquil riverside spot, perfect for a picnic by the water or a quick snack depending on the season. Take a breath, enjoy.

Come back on the road to the charming town of Mayenne (35 km from Laval). Take time to explore its centre, medieval castle, and pretty river views. Then return to Laval along the voie verte, for a gentle end to the afternoon.

On your return to the Auberge, opt for dinner in a friendly atmosphere, or head off to discover a good address in town.

Day 3: Heading south, nature and simple pleasures
Today, we head south through peaceful, verdant countryside. The route runs alongside the river, through small hamlets and fields, offering a calm and relaxing setting to pedal at your own pace.

Disconnect at the La Benâtre d’Origné lock (after a 20 km ride) for a friendly, bucolic stopover where a cool break awaits you on a riverside terrace. Here, everything invites you to slow down.

Final stretch to Château-Gontier for lunch. Once there, why not extend the pleasure with a water-based activity? Paddle, water-ski or towed buoy… the choice is yours. Finally, take the green route back to Laval, along the greenway, your legs full of miles… and your head full of memories.
