Between Breton legend and hip hop dance
As part of the J2K Festival, the Théâtre de Laval welcomes Eckmühl, the new creation by the One Father company, on Sunday 19 October at 4.30pm. A blend of Breton legend and hip hop dance, the show takes young and old (aged 5 and up) on a luminous and moving journey.
With Eckmühl, One Father offers a powerful and original choreographic creation, where personal history meets collective legend.
Named after the mythical lighthouse at Eckmühl, this piece turns light into a symbol: the light that enlightens, guides, cuts through inner storms to open the way.
Anchored in their homeland, the dancers pay homage to their Breton roots, while bringing their art into the present through a sincere and vibrant performance.
