The magic that is about to unfold before our very eyes is unencumbered by the usual artefacts: here there are no decks of cards and no white rabbit in a top hat! It's all there, in plain sight, just as it appears on the paper: building site pallets and a pile of raw materials wrapped in plastic film.
In this jumble of everyday objects, two chief alchemists, assisted by four performers, manipulate pulleys, trestles and nets to confront gravity. Disappearing, suspended bodies and mind-boggling balancing acts: one virtuoso tableau after another, tinged with burlesque and poetry, leaves you breathless. A great show of new magic.
