Laval, December 2025 - At the Musée-école de la Perrine, François Béchu exhibits "Algorie, Le Pays des Algues" while the Théâtre de l'Échappée opens its doors to Claudine Orvain's "Petites boîtes" exhibition. From 6 to 21 December, the public is invited to explore two artistic worlds.
"Algorie, Land of Seaweed - François Béchu
At the Musée-école de la Perrine, François Béchu unveils Algorie, Le Pays des Algues. Between Kermyl and Mousterlin, he "fishes" for seaweed: he doesn't stage or arrange the seaweed, but captures (usually at the water's edge) a single movement that is modified by the next wave.
A series of works accompanied by texts.
Open daily from 10 am to 5.30 pm - Public opening on Saturday 6 December at 11 am, followed by a welcome drink.
Free admission - Open to the general public.

"Petites boîtes" - Claudine Orvain
Presented at the Théâtre de l'Échappée - Espace Larrio Ekson, the Petites boîtes exhibition invites visitors to discover a unique universe for each creation.
Derivative products from the two exhibitions are available on site: jewellery, books, postcards, etc.
Open Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, and daily by appointment on 06 08 83 19 22.
Free admission - open to all.
The artists
François Béchu is a director, actor and author.
Claudine Orvain is a dancer, author, actress and singer.
They are both artistic directors of the Théâtre de l'Échappée company in Laval.
