Drive fermier 53 is an association of 30 producers who sell products from their farms directly and through short distribution channels. All the farms practise organic or conventional "fermière" farming: they are small-scale, and the production and processing methods meet the requirements of the "fermière" designation and the Bienvenue à la ferme (Welcome to the Farm) specifications.
The "lamayenne53.drive-fermier.fr" website is an online shop created with the idea of enabling consumers to buy one or more products from different farms at a time. Producers from all over the department come to meet customers twice a week in Laval on Thursday afternoons between 4.30pm and 7.30pm at the Chamber of Agriculture or the Lycée agricole. They can also come on Fridays between 12pm and 2pm at the Chamber of Agriculture, Parc Technopole Changé or at Laëtitia and Jérôme Piron's home in Soulgé sur Ouette between 6pm and 7pm.
Every week, customers can take advantage of a wide range of products: vegetables, fruit, meat (beef, veal, pork, lamb), poultry, eggs, jams, honey, cow's and goat's milk products, flour, dried pasta, cider products, bread, ice cream, mohair wool, horticultural plants, etc.

Visits by under-15s are forbidden, except in week 1 and where otherwise stated.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Please arrive on time for your visit, as you will be expected there.
- Follow the health and safety instructions given. Failure to
access to the visit will be refused.
- Do not smoke during visits.
- Ask permission to film or take photographs.
- Flat, closed shoes are recommended for all visits.
