"Jubilä" Leïla Martial - Solo pour Vocalise Multi-Timbree / Les Angenoises

Singular and multiple, Leïla visits her inner territories and exhumes their spirits. Alone on stage in her nymph's dress and bushy crown, an ancient and playful creature, clown-child and lyrical woman, she brings her worlds together, invoking Bach at the neck of a mignonette, celebrating the child she will never have, vibrating to her piano toy on buried memories, Switching from French to English and Spanish, or even to one of those crazy languages she's so good at, exploding in volutes of unimaginable imaginary timbres, all punctuated by droll confessions about playing Bach, tuning instruments to 440 and other subjects taken on the fly.
