Taken from old magazines or paintings from the history of Western art, bodies populate Laurent Pierson's works, punctuated by dancing silhouettes,
or pointing out clues, hidden truths or celestial mysteries to the viewer. The animal is also omnipresent, dead or alive, in its entirety or sparingly, here a feather, here a bone, a trace.
The artist likes to accompany her creations with carefully laid-out poetic texts, to guide the public through the many layers of her work.
