From 11 to 26 April 2026, the Bains-douches in Laval will be hosting "Temps suspendu", an exhibition of sculptures and installations by the artist Miji SIM.
Through her works, which are organic and pure in form, the artist invites the public to take part in a contemplative artistic experience based on time, nature and matter.
An exhibition between sculpture and installation
In 'Suspended Time', Miji SIM presents a series of sculptures and installations that explore natural forms and fragile balances. The works, with their sober lines and mineral tones, evoke plant silhouettes or imaginary landscapes.
Through this artistic work, the artist offers a sensitive reflection on the passage of time and the transformation of forms, inviting visitors to slow down and take a different look at the material.
An artistic journey through the Bains-douches
Set in the unique setting of Laval's Bains-douches, the exhibition offers an immersive journey in which each piece interacts with the space. The venue, dedicated to contemporary art, allows visitors to discover the works from different angles and immerse themselves in the artist's poetic universe.
This exhibition is part of the City of Laval's commitment to making art accessible to all, by offering cultural events open to the general public.
