La Chaussée d'Olivet is a house full of character, founded in 1909 during the gold mining era. It has now rediscovered its soul: first as a manor house, then as a café, a blacksmith's workshop and finally as a bed and breakfast. Ideally located near Laval, Olivet is a small village with a rich history, including the Cistercian abbey of Clairmont and the Priory.
There's something for everyone when it comes to choosing rooms with unique atmospheres: oriental, romantic or chalet-style.
You can relax and observe nature in the large garden planted with trees and flowers. You can also take a stroll along the sunken paths leading from the house.
Breakfast can be served on the sunny terrace overlooking the garden, where there are plenty of nooks and crannies to take in the green, bucolic scenery.
For the pleasure of the palate, make a gourmet stopover at Le Salvert, an excellent village restaurant 800 metres away on foot, with a view of the pond and its wild birds...
Near the A 81, exit 4.
