Cultivating resilience - How to stay connected in a divided world: writer and philosopher Alexandre Jollien and world-renowned meditation teacher Mingyur Rinpoche will discuss vulnerability, joy and how we get through the trials of everyday life.
Join an exceptional conference in Laval with two internationally renowned guests: Swiss philosopher and writer Alexandre Jollien and Buddhist teacher Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche.
In today's fast-paced world, where we sometimes feel overwhelmed, they will offer a lively discussion based on very practical questions: how to get through trials, maintain confidence, cultivate joy in everyday life and nurture calmer relationships with ourselves and with others.
Through their extraordinary life stories, their humour and their simplicity, they will share inspiring ideas that are accessible to everyone, without any pre-requisites or particular knowledge of meditation or Buddhism.
The evening will be hosted by Frédéric Auquier, who will bring together philosophy, first-hand experience and a contemporary perspective on the way we live and relate to others.
The event will take place at Espace Mayenne, Laval, on Friday 17 July 2026, from 7pm to 9pm, in English, with simultaneous translation in French, German and Spanish (Portuguese to be confirmed).
Tickets: €15 (reduced rate), €20 (standard rate), €25 (sponsor rate).
