Laval Agglomération has set itself the target of providing 50 per cent of households with a composting solution by 2026.
Regardless of where residents live – in a detached house or a flat – the local authority provides residents with composting equipment free of charge (individual compost bins, worm composters, communal compost bins at the foot of blocks of flats) and supports those taking part through training and guidance on how to use them.
Practical information:
– Information and distribution points for composters are located throughout the metropolitan area
– These sessions are free of charge and open to all without the need to register. A recent proof of address must be provided.
