The Rotary Clubs of Laval and Laval Ambroise Paré, and the Inne Wheel Club of Laval, invite you to a conference with Emmanuel de Waresquiel.
Emmanuel De Waresquiel is a historian and academician specialising in the 19th century, with a particular focus on the French Revolution and constitutional monarchies. A publisher and academic, he is the author of biographies of Talleyrand, Fouché and Marie-Antoinette. His biography of the Duke of Richelieu was awarded the Prix Gaubert by the Académie Française, and his biography of Talleyrand was voted best biography of 2003 by Le Point. Emmanuel De Waresquiel grew up in Mayenne, to which he remains very attached and where he visits regularly. Proceeds from the evening will be used to fund initiatives to combat illiteracy.
