Cycling and vintage

Who hasn’t dreamed of travelling back in time to cycle along picturesque country lanes, humming “There was Fernand, there was Firmin…”?

This weekend in Laval takes you right back to the heart of the 1950s, with a retro, cheerful and wonderfully friendly atmosphere.

Arrive on Saturday and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of Laval’s market halls and market, where local producers and Mayenne specialities offer the perfect gourmet break for lunch. The afternoon continues at a leisurely pace in Old Laval, amongst cobbled streets, historic houses and a stroll along the River Mayenne, which you can also explore using the Wivisites app. Then, as night falls, a traditional restaurant with old-world décor will round off this charming immersion.

On Sunday, enjoy a gourmet breakfast followed by a ride on a vintage bike.
