Get out your paintbrushes and pencils and be inspired by the heritage and landscape of Parné-sur-Roc during the “Painters in the Town” day! Whether you’re an experienced artist, an amateur or just a visitor, let yourself be charmed by this delightful little town.
As part of the "Petites Cités de Caractère" scheme, come and discover Parné-sur-Roc during the "Les peintres dans la cité" day. This competition, which aims to showcase the town’s heritage and landscape, is open to both amateur and experienced painters. The aim is to create a piece of art on site in a single day! Visitors, meanwhile, can stroll through the streets to discover the artists and enjoy the entertainment on offer.
On the programme
10am–12pm: creative workshop for children
2.30pm: guided tour of the church
3.45 pm: Meslay-du-Maine choir in the church
4.45 pm: return of the artworks
5.30 pm: prize-giving ceremony
Throughout the day, you can also meet local producers and the medieval troupe "La Maisnie d'Andol".
