SCOP Maille Création was founded in 1993 by 25 founding employees who took over their struggling textile company. To capitalise on its expertise in knitting and garment manufacturing within the high-end sector, the company has strengthened its support for product development (research, knit samples, prototype garments), whilst relying on a network of Italian subcontractors to handle all levels of production orders. Based near Laval (53), the SCOP now has 72 employee-members and a turnover of approximately €8 million. Each year, Maille Création develops and manufactures several collections of knitwear products for leading names in luxury ready-to-wear, as well as for designers seeking specialist expertise (in terms of technique, innovation, quality and lead times). PRACTICAL INFORMATION !! • From Friday 2 to Friday 9 October 2026, tours are reserved for jobseekers, trainees and secondary school pupils • From Monday 12 to Friday 30 October: tours for the general public Prices: > 1 tour: €6 per person / > 4 or more different tours: €5 per tour per person > Jobseekers*, trainees, secondary school pupils: FREE * For jobseekers, the cost of tours is covered by France Travail (€3 per person per tour) > Tours are not permitted for those under 15 years of age Booking is compulsory from 11 September!
