Laval Agglo provides individual compost bins free of charge. Training and distribution are available to all. This service is available only to residents of the Laval Agglo area.
As part of its proactive waste reduction policy,
Laval Agglomération has set itself the target of providing 50 per cent of households with a composting solution by 2026.
Regardless of where residents live – in a detached house or a flat – the local authority provides composting equipment free of charge (individual compost bins, worm composters, communal compost bins at the foot of blocks of flats) and supports participants through training and guidance on how to use them.
Practical information:
– Training sessions and compost bin distribution points are located across the metropolitan area.
– These sessions are free of charge and open to all without the need to register.
