Description
As part of Heritage Days, come and discover the charms of this charming little town.
On the programme:
- 2.30 pm: Guided tour of the recently renovated St Pierre’s Church: the only church in the Mayenne department to have retained its Romanesque stone spire. And discover its paintings, which depict acts of devotion and the trades of the time (shoemakers, carpenters, doctors) through their patron saints, as well as a depiction of Saint Christopher.
- 2.30 pm and 4.00 pm: Guided walking tour on the theme ‘Schools in Parné: from yesterday to today’: stroll through the streets of our historic centre to discover the various iconic sites that have welcomed Parné’s schoolchildren through the ages.
- 3.30 pm: The “Una voce” choir in the church choir.
