Description
The festival will open in Laval on Friday 25 September 2026 at the chapel of the Lycée Ambroise Paré. The ensemble Il Ballo will present the world premiere of the concert *Le Nouveau Concert de Madrigaux*, an immersion into the world of Claudio Monteverdi’s madrigals. Five singers, accompanied by the harpsichord, the viola da gamba and the theorbo, will bring to life this seminal work by the Italian genius, which bridges the Renaissance and the Baroque periods.
