To mark its 10th anniversary, Agro Logic – a Mayenne-based company specialising in the sorting, processing and value-adding of local seeds and pulses – is opening the doors to its production site. Throughout the day, discover what goes on behind the scenes in the local food sector through guided tours of the company, a talk on children’s nutrition, a farmers’ market, tastings, a themed meal (booking required), a workshop for farmers based on the Shift Project’s ‘Agriculture’ report, to discuss the issues and future prospects for agriculture in the face of climate challenges, as well as activities for children. A friendly, family-oriented day to exchange ideas, understand the challenges facing our food system and discover local solutions to better nourish the generations of today and tomorrow.
