The public school living museum, which opened in Laval in 1991, currently has over 10,000 objects to remind visitors of what school was like in the past.
Visitors can see a recreation of a classroom from the early 20th century, complete with period furniture and classroom equipment.
A second room is devoted to permanent exhibitions.
Accessible to people with reduced mobility.
OPENING TIMES :
- Mondays and Wednesdays 2pm to 5pm
- on the first Sunday of the month, free of charge
- guided tours at 2pm and 3.30pm
- Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, for visits and/or writing workshops for GROUPS of 6 or more (schools, associations, companies, health establishments, etc.), by appointment only.
- Writing, Origami and Cross-stitch workshops during the school holidays. Timetables and schedules are published in the local press and on our websites and Facebook page. Booking recommended.

- Guided tour: €4 for those aged 18 and over - €3 for those aged 6 to 17 and free for those under 6. May 'N pass rates applied
