Description
Building a water rocket
In the planetarium, you’ll feel as though you’re inside a spaceship, and we’ll explore the Moon, the planets and our galaxy, with short animated films and stories about the night sky… The planetarium is a half-sphere that you walk into, which replicates the night sky. We’ll try to answer your questions and illustrate the concepts.
Before or after the planetarium session, any child who wishes to can build and launch their own water rocket, which they’ll have made following the facilitator’s instructions. Weather permitting, we’ll observe sunspots and/or solar prominences.
