Description
From barracks to community centre: the secrets behind a transformation
Following the War of 1870, the Schneider barracks were built on the Route de Fougères to house the 101st Infantry Regiment. Now that the Army has left the premises, the site has been repurposed to house the Community Centre. A bold, contemporary extension now characterises the buildings where the future of the Laval conurbation is being shaped.
