Bilal Hassani, aged 26, a singer-songwriter, actor and producer, shares his daily life with more than 3 million loyal fans around the world.
He is the symbol of a new generation and champions the values of tolerance, acceptance, self-love and respect for everyone. Passionate about music, Bilal Hassani began his artistic career by taking part in the TV show *The Voice Kids* in 2015, before releasing cover versions on his YouTube channel. He quickly built up a large following with whom he shares his daily life, championing the values of tolerance, respect and self-acceptance. In 2019, he represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Roi’, an anthem to self-acceptance co-written with the pop group Madame Monsieur. That same year, he released his debut album *Kingdom* and won the NRJ Music Award for Francophone Newcomer of the Year, as well as an Olympia Award for his first tour. Bilal Hassani has continued his musical journey with two further albums and a mixtape, including *Théorème*, produced by the musician Grand Marnier, a member of the band Yelle. His music video for *Fais le vide* was named Video of the Year at the 2020 MTV France Music Video Awards. In 2021, he made history on the TV show *Danse avec les stars* by becoming the first celebrity in Europe to dance with a same-sex partner. His performances, praised for their technical skill and stage presence, took him all the way to the final. Always on the lookout for new forms of artistic expression, he has now set his sights on exploring the world of film. He landed his first role in Alexis Langlois’s *Les Reines du drame*, which was screened at the Critics’ Week section of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. He will soon be appearing in *Nino dans la nuit*, directed by Laurent Micheli and adapted from the novel by Simon and Capucine Johannin.
