Description
From 4 July to 30 August, Clairmont Abbey is hosting a unique artistic event
From 4 July to 30 August, Clairmont Abbey is hosting an exceptional artistic collaboration between two cousins who are passionate about creativity and deeply inspired by nature.
Bertrand Laigneau presents his original sculptures, crafted from roots and wood weathered by time. For over thirty years, he has been revealing the hidden forms within the material and bringing to life works imbued with poetry and emotion.
Alongside him, Robert Laigneau is exhibiting his paintings inspired by the landscapes of the Mayenne and Brittany. Through watercolour and pastel, he captures the light, colours and beauty of the natural surroundings.
Set against the remarkable backdrop of Clairmont Abbey, this exhibition invites visitors to discover two complementary artistic worlds where carved wood engages in dialogue with painting, in a shared celebration of nature and emotion.
An exhibition not to be missed for lovers of art, heritage and contemporary creation.
