From 2 to 4 October, Laval is taking part in the National Artists’ Days for the first time. Thirteen venues – studios, galleries and community spaces – are opening their doors to you free of charge. Come and meet more than 30 artists from Laval.
Art isn’t hidden away – it’s there to be discovered
This year, the City of Laval is taking part in the National Artists’ Days (JNA), a nationwide initiative organised by La Maison des Artistes and the Ministry of Culture. On 2, 3 and 4 October, thirteen venues will open their doors and nearly thirty artists from Laval (painters, sculptors, ceramists, photographers and visual artists) will welcome the public to share their work and their passion. This unique tour invites you to wander from one studio to another, chat with the artists and discover the city’s creative wealth over the course of a weekend.
A weekend of free admission, across the whole city
All exhibition venues are open simultaneously, from Friday to Sunday, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm without interruption. Entry is free at all venues, with no booking required. From the ceramics workshop to the photography studio, via glass and metal sculpture and textile felting, each venue offers a different experience. Some artists will also be hosting one or more guests.
