Description
The aim of this lecture is to help you rediscover Madame de Sévigné through her daily life at the Château des Rochers in Vitré and her journeys to and from Laval.
As a good neighbour, the Marquise de Sévigné knows the town of Laval well. She often collects her post there and even stays overnight from time to time. This talk aims to help you rediscover this illustrious figure through some of the more mundane aspects of her daily life: her life at her nearby château des Rochers, her staff, her daily routine in the countryside, her journeys and her relationship with the town of Laval.
