Retro Classic 53

The “Guy de Laval” Lions Club is organising the 4th edition of Retro Classic 53, a major car show at Laval Racecourse. On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, more than 300 classic and luxury cars will be on display for a weekend celebrating automotive passion and heritage. Classic cars, exceptional vehicles, vintage models dating from before 1996… Retro Classic 53 offers a unique immersion in the history of the automobile. Visitors will be able to admire over 300 meticulously preserved vehicles and chat directly with their owners. A special opportunity to discover stories, craftsmanship and rare models that span generations. A packed and lively programme throughout the weekend In addition to the exhibition, a wide range of activities will bring the event to life: Test drives in exceptional vehicles (with registered drivers) Children’s activities: wooden games and a bouncy castle Talks on the history of the motor car Catering areas, a refreshment bar and relaxation zones to make the most of the venue Highlights of the weekend Saturday from 6 pm to 7.30 pm: vehicle parade through the streets of Laval Sunday from 9 am to 11 am: 50 km drive along country roads (reserved for registered drivers) A friendly atmosphere open to all Designed as a genuine meeting place, Retro Classic 53 combines a passion for cars with a friendly atmosphere. With exhibitions, entertainment and opportunities to chat, the public is invited to enjoy a warm and family-friendly weekend. A minibus shuttle service will run between the racecourse and the Jaunaie park-and-ride car park to facilitate access to the site.
