Description
Broadcast of the documentary offering an in-depth look at the Mayenne Monbana My Pie women’s cycling team
On 8 October at the Cinéville in Laval, immerse yourself in *MAYENNE EN GRAND*, a brand-new 30-minute documentary directed by David Commeureuc for *Ouest-France*, which takes you into the heart of the Mayenne Monbana My Pie women’s cycling team.
Filmed throughout the season, the film traces the riders’ journey leading up to the 2026 Tour de France Femmes and shines a spotlight on a team that flies the flag for Mayenne. Through a meeting between Justine Gégu, a Mayenne-born cyclist on the team, and Elena Beauce, a promising young talent from the department, this documentary explores what a jersey represents beyond competition: a sense of belonging, a shared ambition and an inspiration for future generations.
The screening will take place in the presence of the team’s riders as well as Heïdi Gaugain, and will be followed by an exclusive Q&A session with the audience.
A rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of a sporting and human adventure that is deeply rooted in the Mayenne region.
Free admission upon registration.
