The EARL du Maine is a family-run farm situated in Mayenne, combining livestock farming, processing and direct sales. The farm rears goats and processes their milk directly on the farm into farmhouse cheeses. It also rears ostriches for meat production. EARL du Maine has opted for a short supply chain, selling its products directly from the farm and at local markets. But the farm is also a place for sharing and discovery! It regularly welcomes visitors to learn about its animals, its work and its expertise, particularly through goat milking demonstrations. Special instructions: There are dogs on the farm; they are used to people !! PRACTICAL INFORMATION !! • From Friday 2 to Friday 9 October 2026, visits are reserved for jobseekers, trainees and secondary school pupils • From Monday 12 to Friday 30 October: visits open to the general public Prices: > 1 visit: €6 per person / > 4 or more different tours: €5 per tour per person > Jobseekers*, trainees and secondary school pupils: FREE * For jobseekers, tours are funded by France Travail (€3 per person per tour) > Tours are not permitted for those under 15 years of age Booking is compulsory from 11 September!
