Description
When the city devours the countryside, how can we rediscover beauty? A magnificent ecological fable, told through music and words.
The friendship between a tree and a child: together, they will grow and change with the passing of the seasons. But the landscape changes too, and the tree disappears behind the grey walls. So the child, now all grown up, must become a handyman to bring colour back to the concrete.
Inspired by an observation – the retreat of nature from the outskirts of towns and villages – this paper theatre production is a musical tale about the passing of time and a changing world. Using playful and ingenious mechanisms, two actors bring this pocket-sized world to life for a moment suspended in time, filled with rare poetry and a soothing gentleness.
