Murmures de la forêt – Ensemble instrumental de la Mayenne

An inexhaustible source of stories and imagination, forests have inspired some of the masterpieces of the musical repertoire over the centuries. Conductor Chloé Meyzie has drawn upon a selection of pieces from this repertoire for a journey taking us from Debussy to Prokofiev, in the company of a mischievous and dreamy faun! Following the success of the illustrated concert *Symphony for Soft Toys*, the Mayenne Instrumental Ensemble continues its collaboration with François Soutif. Echoing these symphonies in the woods, the illustrator blends live painting, light projections and shadow theatre, creating a performance of… exuberant inventiveness!
