Giving everyone the chance to learn about science and technology is the aim of ZOOM, Laval's centre for scientific culture. Exhibitions, workshops, lectures, shows - so many opportunities to experience science in all its forms!
ZOOM is a science centre dedicated to giving everyone the opportunity to learn about science and technology. Founded in 1996, the association offers interactive resources (exhibitions, talks, outreach activities, workshops, educational resource packs, etc.) to help people discover and deepen their understanding of science.
From the exact sciences to environmental sciences, via the humanities and the Earth and space sciences, there’s something for everyone, young and old alike!
ZOOM is based in the former Museum of Fine Arts, built in 1898 by the architect Leopold Ridel in the Neo-Greek style, situated next to the Jardin de la Perrine. It holds the ‘Musée joyeux’ accreditation.
For visitors: the recommended minimum age varies depending on the exhibition; please do not hesitate to contact ZOOM on 02 43 49 47 81 for further information.
