Transport
  • TUL and Aléop bus schedules

    TUL serves Laval and the surrounding area exclusively, while Aleop is the departmental bus network.

  • Go to Espace Mayenne

    Several options are available.
    You can take TUL line D, and get off at the “Espace Mayenne” terminus.

    Alternatively, you can take the A line, and get off at the 42nd RT, Patton or Fuye stops, and walk the rest of the way.

Parking
  • Free parking in Laval

    In Laval, you’ll find free parking notably at Place de Hercé, right in the center of town, ideal for easy access to local shops and activities.

    Another location is the Halte parking lot, offering convenient access for travelers wishing to park close to the train station or the city’s main roads.

  • Distance from tourist office to historic center

    The tourist office is about a 17-minute walk from Laval’s historic center (Place de la Trémoille), an ideal starting point for exploring the city and its attractions.

  • Bike rental in Laval

    Simply download the “Bird” app on your smartphone, create an account, then unlock a scooter directly via the app each time you use it.

Accessibility
  • Laval Agglomération and accessibility

    Laval Agglo is committed to improving accessibility for all. Many public places, public transport and facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility. Special facilities, such as access ramps, elevators and reserved parking spaces, are in place to make getting around easier.

    As part of its “Ville handi accueillante” initiative, Laval is experimenting with Streetco. This collaborative application maps street accessibility. Users can report obstacles that hinder mobility for people with disabilities.

  • Sports trails and accessibility

    For several months now, Laval Tourisme has been working with various associations to develop cycling and hiking routes accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Motorhome
  • Motorhome parking in Laval

    The nearest motorhome parks to Laval are located around 3 km from the city center, in Changé, offering quick access to the city while remaining in a tranquil setting.

    Another site is located 10 km away, in Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne, ideal for those who prefer a more rural setting but are still a short distance from Laval.

  • Motorhome regulations in the city

    Visitors wishing to park for a day or less can park their motorhome in the town, as there are no specific regulations.
    All you need to do is pay the parking fee and make sure you don’t obstruct traffic.

    Discover our booklet for a 1h15 self-guided rally through the historic center.

    Two versions are available: one for adults and one for children aged 7 to 14.

    A great opportunity to set off on an adventure with family and friends!

    Available directly from the Laval Tourisme boutique.

  • Visit the Bains-douches / Bateau Lavoir

    Both sites are open to the public for self-guided tours during the summer season.

    During the rest of the year, guided tours can be organized on request.
    The shower baths also host exhibitions, and are accessible on these occasions.

    We recommend choosing a property close to the city center, for quick access to shops and services. For students heading to the Technopolis area, TUL line B provides direct access to the campus!
